Please have some more patience, I can promise you it will be worth the wait!
I just noticed that the hauntedskull.com’s RSS feed contains images in each item’s content:encoded. Is it deliberate that Runa’s feed doesn’t, otherwise could it please be turned on? That’ll allow me to read new pages directly in my feed reader and I’ll be extremely grateful.
Hey Rainlover, please don´t lose hope! We´re hard at work on issue #3 and making good progress – but life has the nasty habit to interfere (we´re doing Runa parallel to our day jobs). So please have a bit more patience! (And thank you for reading!!)
I have been following another strip that has been down just as long if not longer. It makes no mention of a “Day Job”–though I think all strip artists do have one—but it keeps promising “updates soon”,and try to get you interested in other peoples work, or new strips or games(?) they are starting—but the original strip is still in limbo with no updates seen at all on the far horizon.
Yeah, it´s a really frustrating situation – for readers and creators, both! But yeah, we all have day jobs (although I´m a full-time writer, making comics is – at the moment – a fun side gig for me, that doesn´t pay the bills. At least not yet 😉
What I can promise you, though: Noah and Patricia are making great progress, and I´ve already seen the first pages. But we´ve learned pretty quickly that we need a nice buffer of pages before we publish the first one – just to be ready when life tries to screw us again. It´s the oly way we can guarantee that we´ll deliver the new pages on time.
That being said: I feel Runa #3 will be our best issue yet, it´s firing on all cylinders, story wise and art wise. You´re in for quite a ride. It will just take a little longer than we originally planned/hoped!

But we’re actually making very good progress at the moment! Most of the comic is inked and coloring has already started. Our Patreons are getting to see new artwork from issue three every week, plus some nice extras like work-in-progress videos and the like. Yeah, and we’re so sorry to leave you hanging for so long! But after some nasty delays we’re finally making good progress. Runa 3 is more than TWICE as log as the first issue, there’s so many new creatures and locations to design (there’s a double splash page that’s gonna knock your socks off). Here’s a little sneak peek from Patricia’s coloring work:
The first 15 pages or so are finished, btw, but we want to build up a nice buffer of them before we show them, so there’ll be no delays between the weekly pages.
